BATON ROUGE — LSU football season ticket holders have until Monday to apply for tickets to LSU’s post-season bowl game.
The LSU Athletics Ticket Office has mailed information to current football season ticket holders on how to apply for tickets. LSU season ticket holders have the opportunity to apply for tickets to the various bowl games in which LSU may play during the holiday season.
There are no limits placed on how many tickets can be ordered by current season ticket holders, but fans are advised in the information packet that limitations will be put in place if the demand for tickets exceeds the supply available to LSU for any games. The information packet also includes the priority system that will be used if limitations become necessary.
Tickets for the LSU bowl game will be allocated first to players, coaches, LSU students, LSU Athletic Department staff and University official party. Next, the Tiger Athletic Foundation receives an allocation to distribute to its season ticket holders based upon the TAF Priority Point System.
The next allocation of tickets goes to season ticket holders who currently are not members of the TAF and/or TAF ticket holders who did not receive tickets through the TAF allotment.
The number of ticket requests from season ticket holders will be measured against the number of tickets available to determine if any limits must be imposed. A lottery for tickets will be held only if there are more ticket requests than there are tickets available.
Tickets may be ordered by current LSU season ticket holders by going in person to the LSU Athletics Ticket Office, by mail or through the Official Web Site of LSU Athletics, www.LSUsports.net. Payment may be made by Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Credit cards will be charged only when it is determined the bowl game in which LSU will play.
