BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s basketball team went through two solid practices Saturday at the Maravich Assembly Center to open John Brady‘s eighth year as the head coach of the Tigers.
The Tigers practiced for two hours and 45 minutes starting at 10:30 Saturday morning and then came back for an hour and 40 minute practice at 5 p.m. In the evening practice, the Tigers spent approximately 40 minutes working on the outlet pass off rebounds and the transition break into offense.
“The first day was very good,” said Brady afterwards. “The team’s base conditioning coming into the practice was good and our team was receptive to the learning. The effort was good and we had two good, productive sessions.”
The Tigers have a little over three weeks to prepare for the first exhibition game at the Maravich Center on Nov. 9 and just over a month to get ready for the season opener, the LSU Louisiana Classic Tournament on Nov. 19 and 21. The Tigers will take on Tulane in the Nov. 19 opening round.
Season tickets for the 2004-05 season remain on sale at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office.
