BATON ROUGE — New season tickets for the 2004-05 LSU men’s basketball season will go on sale at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office, and online at LSUsports.net.
Included on the season ticket are 17 games — 15 regular season games and two exhibition games — at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Season tickets are available in the middle and upper levels of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Middle level seats are $216 per season and upper level seats are $186 per season ticket.
The Tigers will play 11 opponents that advanced to post-season play last year, three conference division champions and eight teams that won at least 20 games.
Tiger fans will notice several improvements to the Maravich Center this season. Repairs to the roof, which began in the middle of last season, have been completed. Also, renovations to the concourse of the Maravich Center have been made to include interactive video kiosks and pictorial displays.
The season opens with an all-Louisiana tournament that will be played on November 19 and November 21. The Tigers will face Tulane in the opening round on Saturday, November 19, with Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana Tech meeting in the other semifinal game. The winners and losers will play on Sunday, November 21.
Key non-conference opponents on the 2004-05 home schedule include West Virginia on November 27 and Ohio State on January 15. The Tigers will also face in-state opponents UNO on November 24, Northwestern State on December 11 and McNeese State on December 13.
Home Southeastern Conference opponents include South Carolina, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, Florida, Alabama and Vanderbilt.
