BATON ROUGE — LSU linebacker E.J. Kuale has been suspended for Saturday’s game against Florida for his involvement in an off-campus altercation on Thursday, head coach Nick Saban announced on Friday.
“Until I can gather some additional facts on what exactly happened, E.J.’s suspension will be for one game,” Saban said. “We take a great deal of pride in the conduct of our football players on and off the playing field and we will not tolerate any type of behavior that reflects poorly on this University or this football program.”
Kuale, a junior from Daytona Beach, Fla., has appeared in all five games this year, starting three times. Kuale has 12 tackles and two sacks to his credit.
