BATON ROUGE — LSU’s game against Florida on Oct. 9 in Gainesville will be televised by ESPN and will carry at 6:45 CT start, the Southeastern Conference announced on Thursday.
The Florida contest marks LSU’s second appearance on ESPN this year. LSU opened the 2004 season with a 22-21 overtime win over Oregon State in Tiger Stadium in a game televised by ESPN.
Other LSU games currently slated for national television include next week’s game against Georgia, which starts at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS and the contest against Arkansas in Little Rock on Nov. 26, which will also be televised by CBS at 1:30 p.m.
This week, the Tigers host Mississippi State at 11:30 a.m. in Tiger Stadium. Jefferson Pilot will televise the contest and LSU fans are asked to wear gold to Saturday’s game.
