BATON ROUGE — LSU fans are encouraged to wear gold for the LSU vs. Mississippi State football game Saturday in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 11:30 a.m. and will be televised by Jefferson Pilot Sports.
“We want to light up Tiger Stadium for the television audience,” said LSU athletics director Skip Bertman. “We’ve had great success with this promotion in the past and our fans have enjoyed these games. Tiger Stadium during last year’s Auburn game was a sea of gold.”
LSU also has gold gameday t-shirts that will be available for purchase this weekend. The gameday t-shirts are $15 each and will be available at special kiosks Friday night in the Touchdown Village motor home lot located on Nicholson Extension, and on Saturday in front of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center and in the Fairway Parking Lot located on the corner of Nicholson Drive and Gourrier Lane.
