BATON ROUGE — The LSU soccer team will be hosting two days of soccer clinics for local members of the Baton Rouge Soccer Association and the YMCA at the LSU Soccer Complex Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. (CST) and Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday’s clinic will be the Tuesday Kickoff for all BRSA members who wish to attend. The Tiger Soccer Kickoff will be Wednesday for members of the YMCA. Both clinics will last approximately an hour, and participants will receive a ticket voucher that can be used for a future home game.
Kids who wish to take part in the clinic are asked to bring a soccer ball and water bottle. There will also be raffles and prizes given away at both clinics.
The Tigers will begin SEC play against Kentucky Friday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Cram the Complex game, in hopes of breaking the record for the largest home crowd. The current record is 1,421 when LSU defeated Ole Miss 2-0 Sept. 8, 1995.
