BOULDER, Colo. — The LSU Soccer team looks to get a win on the road before starting conference play next weekend. The Tigers (4-3-0) take on Wyoming (3-1-3) Sunday at noon at the Pleasant View Soccer Complex.
“It is going to be a tough game,” said LSU co-head coach George Fotopoulos. “Anytime you lose a game you have to recover yourself mentally and physically. We just need to regroup and get our minds focused again.”
The Tigers will face a familiar face in Christina Best who transferred from LSU last season to play for Wyoming. While at LSU Best started in 14 games and saw action in all 20 games.
This is Wyoming’s biggest game so far on the season having beaten Eastern Washington, Charleston College and Illinois State.
“Wyoming is a good team that tied Denver who is a top team in the region,” said Fotopoulos. “We need to come out an play better.”
The Tigers will spend the next weekend at home as the Tigers will open SEC play against Kentucky on Sept. 24 and Vanderbilt on Sept. 26.
