BATON ROUGE — LSU, Auburn and Southeastern Conference officials continue to monitor the path of Hurricane Ivan, but no changes have been announced in the status of the LSU vs. Auburn football game on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
The LSU Tigers are scheduled to leave Baton Rouge Friday at 4:15 p.m.
LSU announced Tuesday that the University will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, however that decision has no impact on the status of the football game at Auburn Saturday.
If there is any change in the status of the football game it would likely not take place until Thursday, or at the latest very early Friday morning, after officials have had an opportunity to review the impact of Hurricane Ivan by that time.
