BATON ROUGE — LSU will begin defense of its national title in football with a nationally televised game against Oregon State in Tiger Stadium on ESPN, the Southeastern Conference announced.
Kickoff for LSU’s season-opener against Oregon State on Sept. 4 will carry at 5 p.m. start time. In addition, LSU’s road game against Auburn on Sept. 18 will be televised to a national audience on CBS and will start at 2:30 p.m.
To date, LSU’s other televised game will be against Arkansas on Friday, Nov. 26 when the Tigers and Razorbacks square off on CBS in Little Rock at 1:30 p.m.
The remainder of LSU’s television schedule will be announced as the season progresses.
The Tigers, winners of the 2003 BCS national title, return 15 starters, including four 2004 preseason All-Americans, from last year’s 13-1 team.
