ATHENS, Ga. — LSU sophomore Britney Henry shattered her own school record in the hammer throw Saturday recording a toss of 207-6 at the Georgia Throws Classic.
The PR mark bettered Henry’s previous record of 205-11 set in May at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships.
Henry’s toss was good enough for a fifth-place finish in the final standings. Georgia’s Jenny Dahlgren won the meet with a throw of 216-2.
