BATON ROUGE — LSU women’s tennis head coach Tony Minnis was appointed to chair the Southwest Regional NCAA Division I Selection Committee.
Minnis is one of six regional chairs for the committee, which determines sites and seedings for the NCAA Tournament.
It is Minnis’ first time to be selected chair. He serves with five other coaches and assistant athletic directors across the United States.
Minnis led the 18th-ranked Lady Tigers (18-8, 6-5 SEC) to a SEC Western Division championship this season.
