BATON ROUGE — LSU will wrap up its third week of spring practice by holding its second scrimmage at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Tiger Stadium.
Saturday’s scrimmage caps a week that saw the Tigers practice three times as LSU continues to work its way back into football shape following a 10-day layoff for spring break. The second scrimmage will be another opportunity for some of the younger players to get a chance to showcase their ability.
“We’re looking for the young guys to make a big jump from the first scrimmage to the second scrimmage,” LSU coach Nick Saban said.
Following Saturday’s scrimmage, the Tigers will practice twice next week before wrapping up spring drills with the annual spring game at 1 p.m. in Tiger Stadium on April 24.
Tickets for the Spring Game are currently on sale at the LSU Ticket Office or on the Internet at www.LSUsports.net. Advance tickets are $5 with student tickets costing $3. Tickets purchased on the day of the game will sell for $10. All seating in Tiger Stadium for the Spring Game will be on the east side and will be general admission.
