BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s tennis team slipped one spot to No. 14 in the latest ITA rankings after winning four out of five road matches over their spring break.
The Tigers (15-4, 6-3 SEC) play host to two final home matches this week against SEC Eastern Division rivals Florida and South Carolina.
LSU is ranked fourth among Southeastern Conference teams and is currently locked in a four-way tie for second in the conference. Fifth-ranked Ole Miss leads the SEC at 8-2. Georgia was ranked No. 8 and Florida was No. 9. Tennessee and Kentucky were right behind the Tigers at No. 15 and No. 16, respectively. Vanderbilt was ranked No. 24.
Individual rankings were not released this week. LSU’s Ken Skupski was 28th in the nation in singles last week. Doubles pair Bryan Fisher and Jason Hazley were 26th and Cory Ross and Sebastian Rutka were 41st.
