BATON ROUGE — LSU women’s tennis team is currently ranked 20th nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, released Tuesday. The Lady Tigers jumped five spots from their previous position of No. 25 in last week’s poll.
In singles competition, senior Jessica Ferguson is ranked 50th and freshman Amanda Mang is ranked 122nd. The Lady Tigers have no doubles teams ranked this week.
The Lady Tigers’ next match is scheduled for Thursday, April 8 against Tulsa. Action from the Golden Hurricane’s Michael D. Case Tennis Stadium will begin at 2 p.m. LSU will look to extend its winning streak to five against 40th-ranked Tulsa.
