BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s tennis team will take on Tulane on Wednesday, April 7, at Goldring Tennis Stadium in New Orleans. The match is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
The Tigers have won three straight and will look to extend their consecutive winning streak over in-state opponents to 82. LSU has most recently defeated Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi State and only has three matches left until the SEC Championships on April 22.
The Tigers are currently ranked 13th by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, while Tulane is ranked 27th.
BATON ROUGE — In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings released Tuesday, the LSU men’s tennis team is listed at No. 13 in the country. The Tigers dropped two spots from their previous position at No. 11.
Three LSU doubles team are ranked among the top 60 this week. Bryan Fisher and Jason Hazley are the Tigers’ top-ranked team at 26th, Sebastian Rutka and Cory Ross are ranked 41st and Cory Ross and Danny Bryan are 52nd.
Freshman Ken Skupski is the only Tiger to be ranked in singles competition, he is listed at No. 28.
The Tigers return to action Wednesday, April 7, when they travel to New Orleans to take on No. 27 Tulane at the Goldring Tennis Stadium.
