BATON ROUGE — LSU’s Lady Tigers basketball team climbed to No. 15 in the Associated Press poll and to 14th in the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA poll, it was released on Tuesday.
LSU (20-4, 8-2 SEC) moved up one spot in the AP poll and two spots in the coaches poll following last week’s victories over Arkansas at home and at then No. 20 Florida. The Lady Tigers, who won their 20th game for the 16th time in the program’s history, defeated Arkansas 92-65 on Thursday night and Florida 91-72 on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Tigers received 575 points in the AP poll and 467 in the coaches poll.
LSU hosts Vanderbilt on Thursday at 7 p.m. CST in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in the first of three straight home games.
