BATON ROUGE — The LSU Athletics Department reminded fans Tuesday is the final day to purchase $6 upper level tickets of the Maravich Assembly Center for Wednesday’s men’s basketball game with Auburn.
The tickets for the SEC game, which normally are $12, are available for $6 as part of LSU’s series of Wild Wednesday home games at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office and online at www.LSUsports.net through 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The $6 special tickets for the important SEC Western Division home game can also be purchased by phone at 225-578-2184.
Tickets on game night at the Assembly Center box office will revert back to their normal $12 price. There is no live television broadcast scheduled for the Auburn game.
The LSU-Auburn game will also be the final Wild Wednesday promotion of the season where a person can win up to $250 and a trip to two to Las Vegas for the Academy of Country Music Awards courtesy of local radio station Y100. In addition, the first 500 paid admissions will receive a free Brady Ball T-shirt.
The Tigers have three home games remaining in the 2004 season — Wednesday vs. Auburn (7 p.m.), a special Sunday afternoon 3 p.m. game with Kentucky on Feb. 29 and senior night ceremonies scheduled for the Ole Miss game at 7 p.m. on March 3.
