BATON ROUGE — The LSU Men’s Tennis team moved ahead two spots to No. 15 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll released Tuesday.
The poll, which is released periodically throughout the season, ranked the Tigers No. 17 two weeks ago and No. 19 two weeks before that.
LSU (2-0) is ranked fifth among SEC teams. Ten teams in the conference were ranked in the top 25. Mississippi State, Florida and Vanderbilt remained in the top 10. Georgia was one spot ahead of LSU at No. 14 and Alabama and Kentucky were Nos. 18 and 19. South Carolina and Arkansas were ranked 24th and 25th, respectively.
The Tigers host three matches this weekend, beginning with UL-Lafayette at 2 p.m. Saturday. They face Southeastern La. and Centenary in a doubleheader Sunday at noon and 4 p.m.
