BATON ROUGE — The Golf Channel will make a visit to Baton Rouge and the LSU campus to feature the LSU men’s golf team next week, the network announced on Friday.
The Tigers will be featured on the network’s special segment “College Central”, a show dedicated to collegiate golf, which airs each Wednesday night from 9:30-10:00 p.m. (CDT) on the Golf Channel. The “PING Campus Spotlight” is the official name of the feature and will premier on Feb. 11 and run until the 2004 NCAA Championships on May 28-31. LSU will be featured on the Feb. 11 episode at 9:30 pm CST.
The date and time in which the segment will air will be announced soon and that information will be posted on www.LSUsports.net at that time. The Golf Channel is available on Cox Cable’s Digital Cable package and is channel 250 in the Baton Rouge area.
