BATON ROUGE — The LSU baseball home opener versus Louisiana-Monroe will be played at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, in Alex Box Stadium.
The game was originally scheduled for a 3 p.m. start on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
The home opener was moved a day earlier to avoid conflict with the LSU men’s basketball game versus Auburn, which begins at 7 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The second-ranked Tigers will make their first appearance in Alex Box Stadium on at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, when they play the annual Alumni Game, an exhibition contest versus a team of former LSU players active in professional baseball.
