Cox Sports to Re-air Eight Tiger Football Games

BATON ROUGE — LSU football fans will be able to re-live the Tigers’ run to the 2003 Southeastern Conference title and a berth in the national championship game starting on Dec. 26 as Cox Sports Television will re-air eight football games from this past season, the network has announced.

“LSU Tigers: Countdown to the Title” is a 10-day extensive look at LSU football leading up the 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl and the national championship game against Oklahoma.

Cox Sports Television can be seen in the Baton Rouge area on Cox Cable channel 37. Cox Sports Television is in the second year of a multi-year agreement with LSU and is the exclusive regional sports network of the Tigers, televising over 40 LSU sporting events annually.

It all gets started on Dec. 26 when Cox Sports Television will air LSU’s 17-10 last-minute win over Georgia at 7 p.m. The 10-day run is capped on Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. with a 60-minute Nokia Sugar Bowl Preview, hosted by Lyn Rollins, Rene Nadeau and Jordy Hultberg.
