BATON ROUGE — LSU will once again bring Nick Saban’s television and radio shows to a live audience as the Tiger coach will be a part of two hours of programming starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2 from the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans.

“Inside LSU Football, The National Championship Edition”, will air from the Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel, which is located at 500 Canal Street, starting at 6 p.m. on Jan. 2. The show will be hosted by Jordy Hultberg and will include interviews with several members of the Tiger football team as well as a look back at LSU’s run to the national title game.

Fans are invited and encouraged to attend the event. Doors to the ballroom will open at 4:30 p.m. Fans can also pick up the limited edition of LSU’s 2004 Sugar Bowl poster at the television show. The poster, which features Saban leading the Tigers onto the field at the SEC Championship game, will be made available to fans for the first time at the event.

Tiger Sportsline with Nick Saban, a live one-hour radio show, will immediately follow Saban’s television show at the Sheraton. The radio show, which is hosted by the Voice of the Tigers Jim Hawthorne, will run from 7 to 8 p.m.

The television show will be carried in the Baton Rouge live on WBRZ-TV. Cox Sports Television will carry the show on a delay, airing the one-hour program starting at 5 p.m. on Jan. 4.

The radio show can be heard in the Baton Rouge area on 98.1 FM, across the state on the LSU Sports Network and across the country on WWL Radio 870 AM. Fans can also hear the radio show on the Internet at www.LSUsports.net.

This marks the sixth time LSU has produced a live television show from a bowl game. LSU has produced live shows in the past from the 2002 Sugar Bowl, last year’s Cotton Bowl, the Peach Bowl (twice) and the Independence Bowl.
