BATON ROUGE — The LSU Athletic Department announced Friday evening that LSU’s ticket allotment for the Southeastern Conference Championship game to be played on Saturday, Dec. 6, in Atlanta, Ga., has been accounted for.
Each school receives a total of 15,900 tickets for the sold-out game and LSU has already received over 25,000 requests for tickets for the game from the previously mailed applications for championship game and post-season tickets. No other ticket applications will be accepted for the championship.
LSU will email those season ticket holders who requested tickets to the championship game by the end of business Monday. LSU will follow the priority system set forth in the postseason order form sent to all season ticket holders earlier this month. The LSU Athletics Ticket Office will be able to provide some allotment to all ticket holders who ordered by the published deadline.
Students were earlier sent an email listing the times they can come by and have their student identification cards scanned in order to enter a lottery for the 1,500 student tickets allotted each school for the game.
