BATON ROUGE — A warning has been issued to fans who may be offered e-tickets for purchase to the LSU vs. Ole Miss game in Oxford on Saturday.
Ole Miss sells e-tickets for their home football games. These tickets are delivered to the buyer online and are printed by the buyer at home on plain paper. Therefore, they can be fraudulently copied and sold.
Due to the extremely high demand for tickets to the LSU-Ole Miss game, there is an increased risk that individuals may attempt to sell fraudulent or unauthorized e-tickets.
Fans are advised not to buy a pre-printed e-ticket from a third party. E-tickets are intended for purchase or transfer from the Ole Miss ticket office web site by electronic means only.
The barcode on the plain paper ticket allows only one entry per ticket. Unauthorized duplication or sale of the e-ticket may prevent admission to the game. The Ole Miss ticket office has contact information for the authorized ticket holder and that individual will be held responsible for any fraudulent or unauthorized use of an e-ticket.
