BATON ROUGE — LSU quarterback Matt Mauck will be featured on SEC-TV this week, which will air in Baton Rouge and throughout the state of Louisiana at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday on Fox Sports Southwest.
A second airing can be seen at 2 p.m. on Friday on Fox Sports Southwest, which is cable channel 38 in Baton Rouge.
Mauck enters the Alabama game ranked first in the Southeastern Conference and 12th in the nation with a 156.7 pass efficiency rating. Through nine games, Mauck has completed 150 of 230 passes for 1,924 yards and 19 touchdowns. The 19 touchdowns rank second in the SEC and also stands as the second-highest total in LSU history, trailing Tommy Hodson’s 22 TD passes in 1989.
In 15 games as LSU’s starting quarterback, Mauck has led the Tigers to a 13-2 overall mark and he’s guided LSU to its highest ranking since 1961 at No. 3 in the nation.
