BATON ROUGE — Two guards who caused lots of havoc for their college opponents will lead Global Sports to Baton Rouge for an exhibition game with the LSU men’s basketball team Thursday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. game are $5 and available at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office through Thursday and on game night at the upper ticket windows of the Maravich Center.

Back for another year on the Global Sports team, which beat LSU (78-69) in last year’s exhibition opener, will be long-time fan favorite Jason Harrison, the 5-6 point guard who ran the offense at Ole Miss. Joining him will be one of the stars of last year’s Alabama-Birmingham team which went to the quarterfinals of the NIT before losing at St. John’s, 5-10 guard Eric Bush. Bush averaged nearly 10 points a game last season for the Blazers.

Global will play three games prior to coming to LSU, facing Murray State Monday night, Middle Tennessee on Tuesday and Southern Mississippi on Wednesday before the Tiger tilt on Thursday. Following the LSU appearance, the traveling squad will face the likes of Purdue, Florida State and North Carolina State, before concluding their college exhibition tilt with games in New Orleans against the University of New Orleans on Nov. 18 and Tulane on Nov. 19.

The Tigers will have one other exhibition game on Nov. 17 before opening the 2003-04 season on Nov. 21 at home against Southern University.
