WACO, Texas — The LSU men’s golf team will participate in its second tournament of the season, the Baylor Invitational, on Sept. 29-30 at Bear Ridge Golf Club.
“We are looking forward to getting back on the course and trying to improve on what we did in the first tournament,” said LSU head coach Greg Jones. “We are also eager to see what we can do playing in the wind because it is supposed to ve very windy down there.”
The Tigers are coming off of a seventh-place tie in their season-opening tournament, the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate, on Tuesday in Nashville, Tenn. Senior Garrett Prather, back in action for the first time in over a year, tied for 21st place, finishing at 4-over 146.
LSU will go with a lineup of Prather, Riemann, and juniors Heath West, Andrew Lanahan, and Brandon Aydlett, who will be making his season debut.
The Tigers will participate in the Windon Memorial Classic on Oct. 6-7 in Glenview, Ill., following their trip to Waco.
