BATON ROUGE — The LSU soccer team will face the Jackson State Tigers in the final game of the Tiger Classic I on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the LSU Soccer Complex.
“Obviously for us it is important to win this game because we want to win the Tiger Classic title, and we want to win another game so we can keep building up our confidence and start to play with some consistency,” said LSU head coach George Fotopoulos. “We want to play with a lot of pride and plan to come out ready to play.”
The Tigers are coming off a thrilling 2-1 victory over Coastal Carolina on Friday in which senior midfielder Stephanie Keating scored the winning goal on a header in the 89th minute off an assist from freshman forward Stacy Bishop.
