Individual-Game Tickets on Sale Saturday; ‘3-Pack Plan Announced’

BATON ROUGE — Single-game tickets for all of LSU’s home football games in 2003 will go on sale at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, ticket manager Brian Broussard announced.

Due to an upgrade with the telephone system on the LSU campus, fans are reminded that tickets for individual games will not go on sale until 2 p.m. on Aug. 9.

LSU football season tickets are still on sale and will continue to be available to fans until the Tigers’ home opener on Aug. 30 against Louisiana-Monroe.

In addition to season tickets and individual game tickets, LSU is offering a 3-ticket package for Tiger fans. LSU fans can purchase a package of tickets for the Louisiana-Monroe, Western Illinois and Arkansas game for only $72 per ticket package. The 3-ticket package gives Tiger fans a savings of $36.

LSU, along with the Tiger Athletic Foundation, is also sponsoring the Pigskin Playground at the Louisiana-Monroe, Western Illinois and Arkansas games. The Pigskin Playground will be located outside the south side of Tiger Stadium and will feature slides, spacewalks, obstacle courses as well as interactive games for the entire family with current LSU student-athletes.

The LSU Ticket Office will also be selling single-game tickets for four of LSU’s five road games. LSU’s game against Alabama in Tuscaloosa is already a sellout. Ticket prices for road games include: Arizona ($20), South Carolina ($29), Mississippi State ($30), and Ole Miss ($36).

Tickets can be purchased using cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Tickets can be purchase in person at the LSU Ticket Office, by calling (225) 578-2184 or toll free at (800) 960-8587 or over the Internet at www.LSUsports.net.
