BATON ROUGE — LSU head track and field coach Pat Henry was named the SEC Women’s Indoor Co-Coach of the Year it was announced today by the conference office. Henry shares this year’s honor with Florida coach Tom Jones.
Henry, who was earlier named the Mondo Division I Woman’s National Indoor Track Coach of the Year, guided the Lady Tigers to an unprecedented 10th NCAA Indoor title and their second indoor crown in as many years.
In his 16th season at the helm of the LSU track and field program, Henry has coached his teams to a total of 25 NCAA titles, including 21 women’s national crowns.
Henry’s SEC Coach of the Year honor marks the 14th in his career and his first since the 1999 season.
