Local Stations to Carry SEC Baseball Broadcasts

BATON ROUGE — The Comcast Sports Southeast telecasts of LSU’s SEC Baseball Tournament games Wednesday and Thursday will be seen in Louisiana on select affiliates.

WGMB-TV (Cable Ch. 6) will air the games in Baton Rouge. The Wednesday telecast of the LSU-Arkansas game will be aired beginning at 9 p.m.

The LSU-Arkansas telecast will be shown completely live if the game starts after 9 p.m.; if the game starts before 9 p.m., the telecast will be on a tape delay.

This tape delay policy on Wednesday also applies to the New Orleans affiliate (WNOL-TV) and the Alexandria affiliate (WNTZ-TV).

LSU’s game on Thursday is scheduled to begin at either 1 p.m. or 8 p.m. If LSU plays the 8 p.m. contest, the same tape delay procedures as outlined above apply.

The affiliates in Shreveport (KPXJ-TV) and Monroe (Time-Warner Cable) will carry both the Wednesday and Thursday games completely live.

Any LSU games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be carried live by Fox Sports Southwest (Cable Ch. 37 in Baton Rouge). The only exception would come if LSU plays in Saturday’s 8:30 p.m. elimination game, as that contest would be televised by Comcast.
