NEW YORK — College Sports Television, the first television network devoted exclusively to college sports, will televise live the LSU-Tulane baseball game Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. from the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.
The game telecast will be preceded by a special live one-hour CSTV Primetime program offering a look around college sports with news and highlights, followed by a live preview of the LSU-Tulane game. CSTV Primetime will originate from the network’s new studios at Chelsea Piers in New York City and will include reports from the Superdome.
Last season’s game between the two rivals in the Superdome drew an NCAA record of more than 27,000 fans. Barry Tompkins will call the action for CSTV while Julie Croteau will provide color analysis. The telecast is available on DirecTV on channel 610. For information on how to receive CSTV, log on to www.cstv.com.

“Tuesday’s game, featuring two nationally ranked archrivals in front of what is expected to be another NCAA record crowd, epitomizes the type of compelling programming we are offering college alumni and fans nationwide,” said Chris Bevilacqua, co-founder and executive vice president, CSTV. “We are pleased to provide national exposure for one of baseball’s most storied rivalries.”
Tuesday night’s match-up marks the 281th meeting between the two teams on the diamond, with LSU holding a 159-118-3 advantage. The teams have split their two previous games this season, with LSU shutting out visiting Tulane 8-0 April 15 and Tulane taking the first meeting, 5-4 in 11 innings, at home March 11.
