BATON ROUGE — The Tiger volleyball team will host the 2003LSU Spring Tournament on Saturday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The six-team field includes LSU, Louisiana Tech, Nicholls State, Southeastern Louisiana, UL-Lafayette and UNO. Play will begin at 8:30 a.m. with LSU taking on UL-Lafayette on the main court and Louisiana Tech playing Nicholls State in the auxiliary gym.
There are 15 matches scheduled during the day at one-hour intervals. LSU faces Nicholls State at 9:30 a.m. on the main court, Southeastern Louisiana at 1:30 p.m. in the auxiliary gym, Louisiana Tech at 3:30 p.m. in the auxiliary gym and concludes the day with UNO at 4:30 p.m. on the main court.
Each match will consist of two games to 30 point with no deciding game. Each team will play 10, 30-point games in the tournament.
