BATON ROUGE — The 20th-ranked LSU men’s tennis team’s non-conference matchup against the Southern Methodist Mustangs has been rescheduled to 2 p.m. on April 14 announced head coach Jeff Brown on Monday.
“We decided that it would be better for our players and their schoolwork if we waited to play SMU until spring break,” said Brown. “We were forced to miss an extra day a couple of weeks ago due to traveling, and we didn’t want them to have to miss any more days this week.”
The match was originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the Haggar Tennis Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
The 20th-ranked LSU men’s tennis team will next be in action on Friday at 1 p.m. as the Tigers take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in a crucial Southeastern Conference Western Division matchup in Starkville, Miss.
