BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Tickets that have been returned for the participating teams in the 2003 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament first and second rounds in Birmingham, Ala., will go on sale on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the BJCC Arena Ticket Office.
The tickets are for both sessions to be played on Friday and are $40 per session. No call-ins will be accepted and tickets can be bought with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card or Cash. No checks will be accepted.
The NCAA Tournament gets underway in Birmingham on Friday with Texas playing UNC Asheville at 11:30 a.m. CT at the BJCC Arena. LSU plays Purdue 30 minutes following the conclusion of the UT-UNCA contest. In Thursday’s second session, Louisville plays Austin Peay at 6:20 p.m. followed by Mississippi State and Butler.
