TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The LSU men’s golf team will participate in the Conrad Rehling Invitational beginning Friday at the Capstone Club in Tuscaloosa.
The tournament tees of Friday morning and wraps up on Sunday. The 13-team field will play 18 holes each day. Southeastern Louisiana and five individuals will tee off at 8 a.m. Friday to begin the tournament. LSU is paired with Michigan State and will tee off at 11:20 a.m.
The Tigers are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Louisiana Classics on Tuesday in Lafayette, La. Sophomore Heath West paced the Tigers with a fifth-place finish, shooting a 3-under-par 213 for his second-consecutive top-10 finish.
The Tigers finished fourth at the event last season with an 11-over 863 total, finishing 16 strokes behind tournament champion Minnesota.
