BATON ROUGE — Less than 2,300 tickets remain for the LSU men’s basketball game against Alabama on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Maravich Assembly Center, ticket manager Brian Broussard announced on Thursday.
Broussard said the ticket office sold 900 tickets on Thursday, a day after the Tigers posted a 77-64 victory over Ole Miss in Oxford.
Saturday’s game is the regular-season finale for the Tigers and also the final home game for LSU’s six seniors — Collis Temple III, Ronald Dupree, Torris Bright, Brad Bridgewater, Brian Green and Thomas Davis.
The six seniors will be honored with a pre-game ceremony starting at approximately 12:45 p.m.
LSU, winners of four straight and six of its last eight, stands at 18-9 overall and 7-8 in Southeastern Conference action. Alabama, winners of three of its last four games, has a 17-9 overall mark and a 7-8 league record.
Tickets for Saturday’s contest can be purchased for $10 using cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Tickets can also be purchased on the Internet at www.LSUsports.net or by calling the LSU ticket office at (800) 960-8587.
The LSU ticket office will open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and the box office at the Maravich Assembly Center will open beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
