BATON ROUGE — The seventh-ranked LSU softball team’s game against Southeastern Louisiana scheduled for Thursday night was cancelled due to poor weather in the Baton Rouge area. Determination about rescheduling the game will be made at a later date.
This marks the second-straight week that the Tigers’ midweek game has been cancelled due to weather. LSU saw it’s game with McNeese State rained out last week.
The Tigers will begin defense of their Southeastern Conference title on Saturday at 11 a.m. with a doubleheader against Tennessee. The three-game series will conclude on Sunday with a single game beginning at 11 a.m.
