BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s tennis team moved up two spots in the Omni Hotels Collegiate Tennis Rankings on Wednesday as the Tigers improved to No. 21 in the weekly poll administered by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The Tigers (7-2, 1-1 Southeastern Conference) defeated then No. 17 Auburn 6-1 last Sunday in Baton Rouge, picking up their biggest win of the season. LSU will hit the road for two key SEC matches this weekend as the Tigers will face 14th-ranked South Carolina on Friday at 1 p.m. in Columbia, S.C., and then No. 2 Florida Sunday at 1 in Gainesville, Fla.
