BATON ROUGE — Approximately 500 LSU baseball season tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the athletic ticket office.
The tickets, located in the bleachers of Alex Box Stadium, are $140 each. The LSU ticket office, located on the first floor of the athletic administration building, is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. Baseball season tickets may be purchased in person, on-line at www.LSUsports.net, or over the phone by calling 225-578-2184 or 1-800-960-8587.
Payments may be made by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
The 2003 LSU home schedule begins on February 7 when the Tigers play host to Northwestern State.
The 32-game home slate is highlighted by SEC series versus Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Auburn; a three-game series against national power Houston; and games against in-state rivals Tulane, UNO, Southeastern Louisiana, Nicholls State and Louisiana-Monroe.
LSU enters the 2003 season ranked No. 6 in the nation by Collegiate Baseball magazine and No. 9 by Baseball America magazine.
