BATON ROUGE — Fan Jam, LSU’s men’s and women’s basketball fan night, has been set for Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Admission is free for the night of festivities that includes a live band and autograph sessions with both the men’s and women’s team. The Who’s Who Blues Band will get things started with a concert outside the PMAC at 6 p.m. Inside the PMAC, the Lady Tigers will be introduced just after 7 p.m., while the men’s team will be introduced shortly before 8 p.m. The Tiger Girls and the Lady Tigers’ new dance team will also perform during the night’s activities.
Fans will have a chance to not only meet the players and coaches of both programs, but they can also win great prizes, including a chance for one LSU student to win free tuition sponsored by Eagle 98.1 FM.
LSU ticket office will also be on hand, selling season tickets for the men’s 18-game home schedule and the women’s 15 home games.

*During the men’s and women’s scrimmage two fans will be drawn to be an assistant coach for each squad. Honorary assistant coach will receive a t-shirt from the team and will be allowed to sit on the team bench next to the coaches during the scrimmage.
*Mascots Mike the Tiger and Ellis Hugh will be on the court to perform and entertain. They will also be available for pictures during the autograph session.
*Fans names will be drawn throughout the evening for special prize giveaways.
