LONDON — Former LSU great Walter Davis added another triple jump title to his resume Friday winning the Norwich Union British Grand Prix.
Davis turned in a mark of 56-10 1/4 to win the event and outdistance Idowu Phillips of Great Britain (56-8 3/4).
A four-time national champion and nine-time All-American while competing for the Tigers, Davis is currently ranked third in the triple jump in the IAAF World Rankings with 1294 points.
