BATON ROUGE — Three days featuring some of the top high school athletes begins Wednesday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center with the 21st annual Louisiana High School Coaches Association/Coca-Cola All-Star Volleyball game.
First serve is set for 7 p.m. The girls and boys basketball games are set for 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Assembly Center with the football game set for Tiger Stadium at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
The East has dominated the series in the first 20 years, leading 16-4, including a three-game 15-7, 15-10, 15-11, sweep a year ago. The West had its first win since 1991 in the 2000 game, taking the decision in four games.
Sivi Miller of Cabrini and Dawn Curtis of John Curtis will coach the East team, while Beverly Russell of Baton Rouge Episcopal and Karen Owens of Brusley will be in charge of the West squad.
Tickets cost $5 and will be sold each night at the door beginning approximately one hour prior to the start of the event.
