BATON ROUGE — LSU defensive end Kenderick Allen suffered a knee injury in the Tigers’ off-season strength and conditioning program, head coach Nick Saban announced on Tuesday.
Allen, who injured the patella tendon in his left knee, underwent surgery to repair the tendon.
Allen will rehab his knee over the next two months and he’ll be re-evaluated prior to the start of fall camp.
Allen, a 6-foot-6, 300-pound senior, played in 12 games last year for the Tigers and he finished with 17 tackles. Allen has three career sacks.
