BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s tennis team looks to knock off the No. 1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Sunday, as the Tigers host the nation’s top-ranked team at 1 p.m. at the W.T. “Dub” Robinson Tennis Stadium.
“Our singles play really picked up against Tennessee,” said LSU head coach Jeff Brown. “We’re looking for our doubles play to get back to form and when we’re playing our best tennis both in singles and doubles, then we can beat anyone. Our guys have been competing very hard and if we get a couple of breaks, anything can happen.”
LSU heads into Sunday’s match looking to end a seven-match losing streak.
The Tigers have lost hard-fought matches against No. 2 Illinois, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 18 Auburn, No. 18 Florida, No. 21 Alabama, No. 23 South Carolina and No. 25 Texas A&M on the season.
