BATON ROUGE — LSU Sports Network director Jim Hawthorne announced Friday that this weekend’s schedule Southeastern Conference softball games at Tennessee Saturday and Sunday will not be broadcast because of conflicts involving announcers with men’s and women’s basketball and baseball.
The Network also announced a revised schedule of softball broadcasts which will begin again on Wednesday afternoon with the final game of the Mississippi State series at 4 p.m. at Tiger Park.
From there, the Network will broadcast all remaining SEC games along with adding non-conference tilts with rivals Southern Mississippi (March 27 at Hattiesburg; April 24 in Baton Rouge) and Louisiana Lafayette (April 10 in Baton Rouge). Also all post-season contests will be available on the network and all games are available on the Internet at
Softball updates of the LSU-Tennessee series will be available on the Network during the LSU-Vanderbilt baseball games Saturday and Sunday and on the LSU web site.
