BATON ROUGE — “Inside LSU Baseball” and “LSU Sports Journal” will premier Sunday and Monday on television stations throughout Louisiana.
“Inside LSU Baseball,” with head coach Smoke Laval and host Jordy Hultberg, premiers at 10:35 p.m. Sunday on WAFB-TV (Cable Channel 7) in Baton Rouge.
The program, which features game highlights and player profiles, is also scheduled to air on several other affiliates around the state, including Cox Communications Channel 4 in Baton Rouge (Mondays at 8:30 p.m.), WWL-TV in New Orleans, KATC-TV in Lafayette, KLAX-TV in Alexandria, KPLC-TV in Lake Charles and KWBJ-TV in Monroe.
Viewers are encouraged to check local listings for the times and stations in their areas.
“LSU Sports Journal,” a program highlighting various aspects of the LSU Athletic Department, debuts at 7:30 p.m. Monday on Cox Communications Channel 4 in Baton Rouge. The show, hosted by Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a monthly, one-hour production featuring interviews with LSU coaches, athletes and administrators.
Monday’s premier show features LSU athletics director Skip Bertman and Tiger Athletic Foundation CEO Ron Richard, as they discuss the relationship between the TAF and the athletic department. The show also features LSU gymnastics coach D-D Breaux, who discusses her Top 10 team’s outlook for the postseason and the NCAA Central Regional, which will take place on Saturday, April 6, in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
“LSU Sports Journal” will also air on all Cox Communications affiliates in the seven-parish Greater Baton Rouge area.
