BATON ROUGE — The LSU women’s tennis team’s Southeastern Conference opener against the Alabama Crimson Tide was postponed on Friday due to rain.
The conference match scheduled for 4 p.m. at the W.T. “Dub” Robinson Tennis Stadium on March 1 was washed out when an incessant rain storm swept through the Baton Rouge area.
LSU head coach Tony Minnis announced that the match will be rescheduled for Sunday, March 24 at 1 p.m. The contest will still be a home match for the Lady Tigers.
The LSU women’s tennis team will next be in action on Sunday, as the Lady Tigers host Auburn at 1 p.m. at the W.T. “Dub” Robinson Tennis Stadium.
