BATON ROUGE — Individual-game tickets for the 2002 LSU baseball season will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in the LSU athletic ticket office.
LSU has already sold all of its 6,400 baseball season tickets. Individual-game tickets are all that remain available to the general public. The tickets go on sale Saturday in conjunction with LSU’s Baseball Alumni Weekend festivities, which culminate with the annual Alumni Game at 4 p.m. in Alex Box Stadium.
Individual-game tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Tickets may be purchased in person on the first floor of the LSU athletic administration building, or they may be ordered by phone by calling (225) 578-2184 or 1-800-960-8587.
Payments may be made with cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. The ticket office is also open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
LSU faces a challenging 2002 home schedule which includes a three-game series against Long Beach State (March 1-3) and Southeastern Conference series versus Vanderbilt (March 15-17), Mississippi State (March 29-31), Georgia (April 12-14), Arkansas (April 26-28) and Alabama (May 17-19).
The Tigers will also play host to several in-state opponents, including Tulane on March 5 and Louisiana-Lafayette on March 12.
The regular season schedule begins on Friday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. when LSU entertains Birmingham Southern in Alex Box Stadium.
